VerboCalls provides voice and video calling services that allow users to connect with their phone contacts over the internet. The Service is delivered through our mobile application and associated web platform.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

4. Account Registration

You may be required to provide your name, email address, and phone number to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.

5. User Conduct

• You must not use the Service for any illegal, harassing, or fraudulent purpose.
• You must not attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
• You must not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.

6. Credits and Payments

Credits purchased to use the calling service are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Prices and credit packages may change at any time with notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All VerboCalls branding, software, and original content are owned by or licensed to VerboCalls. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VerboCalls shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how VerboCalls collects, uses, stores, and shares your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

a. Information you provide directly

• Name, email address, and phone number when you create an account.
• Payment information (processed securely by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full card numbers).
• Communications you send to our support team.

b. Contacts

• If you grant permission, VerboCalls reads your device's contact list to help you find and call people you know. We upload contact names and phone numbers to our server solely to match them with existing VerboCalls users. Contact data is stored securely, associated with your account, and deleted when you delete your account or revoke access.
• We do not share your contacts with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

c. Camera and Microphone

• VerboCalls accesses your camera and microphone only when you initiate a video or voice call, or when you grant permission for profile-photo capture. These streams are not recorded or stored unless you explicitly choose to record a call.

d. Location

• If you grant permission, we collect coarse (network-based) or fine (GPS) location to enable location-based features such as showing nearby users. You may deny location access without affecting core calling functionality.

e. Usage and Technical Data

• Call metadata (date, duration, participants — not call content), device type, OS version, IP address, and app interaction patterns.
• Crash logs and performance diagnostics to improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the calling Service.
• To match your contacts with VerboCalls users.
• To process payments and manage your credit balance.
• To send service-related notifications (e.g., incoming calls, account alerts).
• To detect fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Payment processors for transaction handling.
• Cloud hosting providers who store our data securely.
• Analytics services to understand app usage.
• Law enforcement when required by valid legal process.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES at rest) and access controls to protect your data. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100 % secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and contact matches for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us. Call metadata is retained for up to 12 months for support and billing purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Revoke consent for contacts, camera, microphone, or location access at any time through your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly.

Refund Policy

1. Credit Purchases

Credits purchased to use the calling service are non-refundable. All sales are final except where required by applicable law.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered under the following conditions:

• The purchase amount must be $20.00 or more.
• The refund request must be submitted within 12 hours of the original purchase.
• A 10% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
• Refunds are subject to approval by our support team.

3. Service Issues

If you experience a verified technical issue that prevents use of purchased credits, contact our support team. We will investigate and may issue a credit adjustment at our discretion.

4. How to Request a Refund

Eligible users can request a refund from the Purchase History page. If your purchase meets the eligibility criteria, a "Request Refund" button will appear next to the transaction.

Changes to Our Policies

We reserve the right to modify these policies at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this page.
